Update on North Baton Rouge

September 26, 2017

CATS knows that its service can improve communities by connecting people to the things that matter to them – from work to church to health care to shopping (and more). We know our agency can play a key role in the success of a community, which is why we have committed to several projects that will enhance service in North Baton Rouge.

To keep you updated on our work in North Baton Rouge, we have launched a portal that outlines the status of current projects to enhance service in the area. This site will eventually feature schematics for projects and updates on where each one stands.

Working together with Mayor Broome’s administration, CATS has prioritized some key projects – especially the Plank Road Bus Rapid Transit line – in North Baton Rouge. We are excited to support the economic revitalization of this area, which is home to many of our CATS riders and operators.

Should you want to discuss any of these projects or other ways that CATS can support North Baton Rouge, do not hesitate to send us an email and set up a meeting.
