Capital Area Transit System (CATS) is delighted to announce the award of its paratransit contract to MV Transportation, Inc. to provide CATS on Demand service to our customers.  MV Transportation brings a wealth of experience providing the very best service and support to its customers and the communities they serve.  The goal of this new partnership is to preserve and improve the quality of service delivery for each rider and to have a highly trained staff working hard on your behalf.  MV Transportation is the number one contracted paratransit provider in the United States, and they will partner with CATS to continue in our mission to connect you to what matters.

Every effort is being made for a smooth transition, and the CATS on Demand staff is working closely with MV Transportation to ensure there will be no disruption in the service you receive. 

During this transition and afterwards, you can expect to hear some of the same familiar voices on the phones and see some of the same familiar faces driving our vehicles. There will be no change in service hours or availability.

During the transition, our reservationists can still be reached at 225-929-7740 Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.
