Today, the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) is Celebrating Women Who Move the Nation, and our own East Baton Rouge Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome will be among the honorees for her leadership in the transportation sector. CATS extends our congratulations to Mayor-President Broome for her support and dedication to CATS and her vision for the first bus rapid transit system in Louisiana.
There will be a ceremony taking place during the COMTO 50th Anniversary virtual National Meeting and Training Conference where they will honor 13 women leaders and trailblazers in the transportation industry later today.
