CATS to resume bus service on Wednesday, September 1st

Baton Rouge, La._ CATS will resume bus service on Wednesday, September 1st after suspending service due to Hurricane Ida.

The agency will be running service from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. in compliance with the curfew established by Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome.

“While we will begin service on Wednesday, we ask for patience,” said CATS CEO Bill Deville. “We are all still maneuvering roadways with no traffic lights, downed trees, and other obstacles. We know that schedules will be altered due to traffic and road conditions, and the safety of our customers and operators remains our top priority,” Deville continued.

CATS Customer Service representatives will be available by calling 225.389.8282 for schedule information.
