Welcome to the CATS analytics portal, where you can track the seven major data points CATS uses to measure its performance and track how its service to Baton Rouge is improving.

These numbers are updated monthly as they are reported to the CATS Board of Commissioners. This portal is designed to make information about CATS performance easily accessible to riders, taxpayers, policy makers and the general public.

CATS PERFORMANCE MEASURES

February 2018 (updated March 23, 2018)

  • Monthly Ridership: 219,091 
  • On-Time Performance: 66.4% (long-term goal is 80%)
  • Preventable Accidents Per 100,000 Miles: 1.5
  • Bus Trip Cancellations: 240.3, meaning 99.3% of all scheduled trips were operated
  • Complaints per 100,000 boardings: 23.7
  • Mean Miles between road calls: 8,099.6 (goal is 8,000, CATS met this goal in Feb)
  • Mean Miles between mechanical failures: 2,109.3 (goal is 3,000)
