The Capital Area Transit System (CATS) is launching a Rider Association in early 2015 to continue its efforts of incorporating rider input as it continues to implement program improvements.
The CATS Rider Association will provide a source of input and feedback from riders’ perspectives regarding modifications to the transit system going forward, supplementing direct feedback already being received. In turn, the CATS management team will provide best practices information to the group’s members, offering continued transit education while obtaining additional input.
Membership of the CATS Rider Association will be open to up to 10 people, with at least 70% of the members being current system riders. An overview of the association and applications for membership are posted online at www.brcats.com, and applications are also available in hard copy through the CATS Customer Care Department at the 22nd Street terminal.
