Three Final Candidates Announced for Capital Area Transit System CEO Position

[BATON ROUGE, MARCH 8]

The Capital Area Transit System (CATS) is pleased to announce the final candidates for the position of CEO. After a thorough selection process, three individuals have emerged as top contenders for this crucial role in leading CATS into its next phase of growth and service excellence.

The candidates scheduled for interviews on Monday, March 11, and Tuesday, March 12, are: Current Interim CEO, Theo Richards, Ivan Maldonado and Mikel Oglesby. The interviews will take place at 350 North Donmoor beginning at 4 p.m. on both days, allowing for a comprehensive assessment of each candidate's qualifications and fit for the role.

CATS remains committed to selecting a CEO who will uphold the organization's mission of providing safe, reliable, and efficient transit services to the capital area community.
