CATS Delays Services on January 16 Due to Weather

January 15, 2024

In response to the forecast of inclement weather, Capital Area Transit System (CATS) announces a temporary adjustment to its services on- Tuesday, January 16. All fixed-route services will experience a delay, with operations beginning at 10 a.m. to ensure the safety and well-being of passengers and staff.

This proactive decision is in line with CATS commitment to providing reliable and secure transportation services. The delay allows our operations team to assess and mitigate any potential weather-related challenges, contributing to a smoother and safer transit experience for everyone.

CATS understands the importance of keeping the community informed, and passengers are advised to plan their travel accordingly. We encourage individuals to stay updated by visiting our website www.brcats.com, following us on social media @btrcats, or by calling our customer service line at 225-389-8282.
