A Message from Bill Deville, CATS CEO
Friends of CATS,
On behalf of all of us at CATS, I am beyond grateful for the turnout Saturday at the polls that led to the successful passage of our ten-year millage renewal.
CATS provides a critical service to people in our community who rely on transit. This win will allow CATS to continue enhancing and making service even more efficient. Additionally, CATS can leverage exciting new opportunities and technology to invest in our community through new capital projects. We have plans for major capital investments that will transform greater Baton Rouge over the next ten years into a more transit friendly environment.
I want to express my sincere gratitude to every partner, ally, and stakeholder who helped us achieve this win for the greater Baton Rouge area. You all were instrumental in spreading the word and educating your networks around the importance of this vote. We are lucky to have so many wonderful partners in the region who understand the value of public transit.
The CATS team is ready to deliver on our promises starting today.
We look forward to resuming to build on our public partnerships and expanding our reach. We’re living in a world that now, more than ever, seeks opportunities to connect and interact. We are eager to facilitate more collaboration, mobility, and connectedness through a well-funded, reliable transportation system.
